Media Addicted

Problem

After sending your machine into standby or hibernation mode and waking it up via USB activity (e.g. mouse movement, keystrokes), the screen will remain black while the system acts like powering up. In fact, it isn’t.

Solution

1. Reactivate your rig using the „Power On“-Button and everything will be fine OR
2. On your mainboard, there is a „USB 5V Power“-Jumper near one of the USB-ports. Set it to 2-3 (from 1-2) to enable permanent 5V standby-power for USB. See your mainboard’s manual to identify the respective jumper.
